Where appropriate, the drugs presented in this section of the site are cross-referenced with mental illnesses that they are particularly useful for treating. I have tried to base all my informantion on meta-analyses of drug efficacy studies, and sought out evidence-based treatment protocols to present here whenever possible (evidence-based treatment protocols are still slowly coming into fashion; it won't be too long, I hope, until your doctor has a wall-mounted flow chart that tells them how to go about treating any one of many mental illnesses; my only hope is that those flow charts aren't sponsored by Astra-Zeneca, etc., etc.).
